Q. What type of aircraft wheels do you work on?
A. All types, corporate, military, but mostly commercial and regional aircraft.

Q. Can you supply an airline with CPL (Cost Per Landing) pricing?
A. Yes. With input from the airline we can establish a CPL pricing program to meet your needs.

Q. What is your turn-time for wheel repairs and overhauls?
A.
Standard turn-time for repairs is three to five days. Wheel overhauls run ten working days. Turn-times can be customized to your needs.

Q. Do you have a surplus inventory of wheels?
A.
No, but we do have access to a large surplus inventory from our sister company, Tracer Corp.

Q. How much to repair or overhaul my wheel assembly?
A.
We won't know until we tear down and inspect the wheel. We can give you an average cost for your particular wheel.

Q. What kind of replacement parts do you use in your repairs or overhauls?
A.
We only use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) parts in our wheels. All parts have tracability back to the OEM.

Q. Warranty?
A.
Aero Tire & Tank warrants repaired, overhauled and new wheels sold, repaired or overhauled to original purchaser by it against failure that occurs one (1) year from date of serviceability tag. Other restrictions do apply. Please contact AERO for a copy of our warranty policy.

Brake Assembly

Q. What type of aircraft brakes do you work on?
A.
All types, but most of our work is on commercial and regional aircraft.

Q. Do you overhaul or repair both steel and carbon brakes?
A.
Yes. We have been overhauling steel brakes since 1984. We were also one of the first to overhaul carbon brakes for several major airlines.

A.
Standard turn-time is fifteen working days, but we can customize turn-times to your needs.

A.
No, but we do have access to a large surplus inventory from our sister company, Tracer Corp.

A.
We won't know until we tear down and inspect the brake. We can give you an average cost for your particular brake.

Yes, we do use surplus parts. Due to high replacement cost on high-dollar items, it costs less to use surplus items, but only if they have tracability back to an OEM. All surplus parts are NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) and inspected before use.

Q. Can you do weld repairs, major mods and machine work?

Yes. We use an FAA approved machine shop for all of our weld repairs, major mods and machine work.
